Description
I shot this image from a cliff across the valley, looking toward Glacier Point. This composition isn’t built around one famous summit or postcard landmark; instead, it’s built from the natural lines of the landscape itself. Granite curves, ridges stack into the distance, and light sweeps across the mountains in a way that feels soft, endless, and intentional.
I camped on the opposite side of the valley the same night I photographed Half Dome at sunset. After the last sunbeam fell across its face, the world shifted into a quieter hue. The wind slowed, the sky deepened, and Glacier Point sat across from me like a sleeping giant — not loud or iconic, but steady, balanced, and quietly powerful.
This print is for people who love the feeling of Yosemite — the spaciousness, the breath, the sense that the world extends far beyond the frame. It’s not about a single peak.
It’s about the way the scene holds you still.
Hang it where you want calm energy.
Where you want quiet.
Where you want depth.
Because sometimes the most beautiful view isn’t the one everyone points at — it’s the one you discover by simply turning your head.
